Video Media Center

 Quick and easy way to turn you computer connected to the living rooms flat screen TV is to use boxee software.

Easy to install and configure plus it is available for Linux, Mac and Windows.

They have nice boxee app for iPhone as well which acts as your remote.Other nice option is XBMC which has even more options for installation: Linux, Mac, Windows, Apple TV and Live CD boot disk.
